JEOL introduced the new SuperCOOL MARVEL HCN cryogenic probe and fostered international exchange within the global NMR community.
From 23 to 27 August 2026, JEOL participated as sponsor and exhibitor at the 31st International Conference on Magnetic Resonance in Biological Systems (ICMRBS) in Davos, Switzerland. Bringing together researchers from academia and industry, the conference once again provided an excellent forum for discussing the latest developments in biomolecular NMR.
A key highlight of the JEOL exhibition was the introduction of the new SuperCOOL MARVEL HCN cryogenic probe. Developed specifically for life science applications, the triple-resonance probe attracted considerable interest and generated valuable discussions on emerging challenges and future directions in biomolecular analysis. Beyond the technology on display, the conference offered numerous opportunities for meaningful exchange with researchers from around the world. Many visitors stopped by the JEOL booth to discuss current projects, analytical challenges and new research approaches in the field of biomolecular NMR.
Another highlight of the week was the JEOL Evening at Strela Alp. Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Swiss Alps, the event provided an ideal setting to strengthen existing relationships, establish new connections and continue scientific discussions beyond the conference programme.
The ICMRBS 2026 once again demonstrated the importance of bringing together scientists, technology providers and industry experts to exchange ideas and help drive future innovation in biomolecular NMR.
