The JMS-TQ4000GC constitutes a revolution in the field of triple quadrupole mass spectrometry. At the heart of the TQ4000 lies the unique short collision cell technology, which allows the TQ4000 to achieve ultra-high speeds and sensitivities. Within the short collision cell, precursor-ions are accumulated, fragmented and instantly discharged in a pulsed ion ejection. Combined with a gas chromatograph, the TQ4000 provides an advanced solution for a multitude of research and routine applications alike, such as pesticides residue or water trace analysis.

Main Features

  • The “Short collision cell technology” enables high speed data acquisition without crosstalk
    The JMS-TQ4000GC can achieve the fastest SRM (Selected Reaction Monitor) switching speed in the industry (1,000 channels/s). Additionally, the crosstalk between SRM channels can be eliminated even for high SRM speeds. This allows for multi-target compounds analyses with high accuracies.

  • High sensitivity is achieved by ion accumulation and pulsed ion ejection
    In the short collision cell, ion accumulation and pulsed ion ejection take place. By acquiring the data only when an ion pulse arrives at the detector the signal to noise ratio can be improved which results in a higher sensitivity.

  • Simple data acquisition and analysis
    The “peak dependent SRM” system automatically creates optimized measurement conditions when the target pesticides are selected from the pre-installed SRM condition files. After measurement, the multi-target quantitative analysis software Escrime™ analyzes the data and creates predefined analysis reports.
