JEOL as a company

As part of the European network, JEOL (Germany) GmbH manages from the head office in Freising near Munich all sales activities, training, applications and services for JEOL systems in Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria and Switzerland, as well as Denmark and the Baltic Countries. In cooperation with JEOL Nordic, we also support customers in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Greenland. The JEOL group headquarters is located in Tokyo.

With over 3,000 employees in more than 30 countries, JEOL is the world’s largest supplier of electon-optical and analytical systems, carrying out research and development in the fields of materials sciences, nanotechnology, medicine, life sciences and biotechnology. The product portfolio comprises different scientific instrumentation and industrial equipment for the microscopic imaging of surfaces and internal structures and the analysis of chemical compositions in the micro- and nanoscale.

JEOL (Germany) GmbH was founded in July 1997 as a subsidiary of JEOL Ltd. Tokyo. The head office in Freising near Munich manages all sales activities of JEOL systems in Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark and the Baltic Countries. More than 100 qualified service technicians in Europe provide for a quick and effective customer service on site. As part of the European network, JEOL (Germany) GmbH cooperates with other branch offices in Sollentuna (S), Vilnius (LT), Herts (UK), Croissy-sur-Seine (F), Milan (I), Zaventem (B) and Nieuw-Vennep (NL) in the fields of sales, training, application and service in order to support customers in Europe and Africa.

JEOL offers systems for microscopic imaging with resolutions spanning to the atomic range, and systems for the analysis of chemical compositions in the micro- and nanoscale. With extensive decades of knowledge and experience in electron optics and both mass and NMR spectrometry, JEOL is your reliable partner not only for biological and medical research but also for the development, characterization and quality control of materials.

The JEOL clientele includes universities and research institutes as well as companies of different sizes and industrial sectors.
